General Description - From this page, you may view the results and information about prospects from any Amateur Draft in the history of this Hardball Dynasty world.

Franchise - Users may select the franchise's draft results they wish to view from a dropdown menu of all 32 user-controlled franchises within the world. Users can also select 'All Franchises' to view a comprehensive list of prospects from that season's draft.

Season - You may select the current Hardball Dynasty season and any previous Hardball Dynasty seasons in this world from which you would like to view draft information. Once a full season is complete, its regular season draft information will be archived here for the duration of the world. You may also select 'All' seasons to view every pick from that franchise. You may not select 'All Franchises' and 'All' seasons. After selecting a franchise and season please click on 'Go' to view the draft history.

Rnd - This indicates the round in which this prospect was drafted.

Pick - This indicates overall pick in the draft at which this player was drafted.

Fran - This indicates the franchise that drafted the player. This will only be different than other picks if the 'All Franchises' option is selected.

User - This indicates the handle of the user who controlled the franchise during this season. Clicking on the userid will pop-up the appropriate User Profile.

Player - This is the prospect drafted. Clicking on his name will pop-up his current player profile. If he is no longer in the league, the profile will list him without a franchise.

Age - This is the player's age at the time of his draft. Age is a good indication of how close he is to his projected peak. Most players will peak in their late 20s.

Background - A player's background will reflect whether he played in college or was drafted out of high school.

Contract - This will indicate the contract agreements of the original contract. Users have until the end of the Hardball Dynasty season to sign prospects before losing him to free agency. Most players, those without special contractual demands or other leverage, will sign for the rookie league minimum salary plus slot money as bonus. The bonus is reflected in the next column. Players who sign for more than the rookie minimum may also sign big league contracts. Bonus - Each year ML assigns a value at which each position in the draft should expect to be signed. This is what is meant by slot money. Hardball Dynasty uses the exact slot money values from 2005. Players who accept slot money will receive this as their bonus as well as a one-year minor league contract for the rookie-ball minimum. Players who sign for more than slot money may also sign big league contracts. Pro Yrs - This is the number of years the player spent in pro ball.

ML Yrs - This is the number of years the player spent in the majors.

Current Fran - This is the franchise that currently owns this player's rights. Since the draft, the prospect could have been traded, released, or never signed by his original franchise. To view more about the player's history, please view his player profile.
